　　该剧为原版的后续和拓展，如果《斯巴达克斯：复仇》第二季的结尾，Ashur（尼克·塔拉贝 Nick E. Tarabay 饰）没有死在维苏威山，如果他因为帮助罗马人杀掉斯巴达克斯并终结奴隶反叛而被赠与了曾属于巴蒂塔斯的角斗士学院，会怎么样？

　　本剧聚焦于哈莱姆的四个曾经一起上大学的黑人女性的生活。

　　穆德（David Duchovny 大卫•杜楚尼 饰）被外星反叛者劫持，而斯科莉（Gillian Anderson 吉莲•安德森 饰）亦同时发现自己怀有身孕。穆德的办公室被搜查，斯科莉请求Skinner（Mitch Pileggi 饰）帮助寻找搭档，孤枪侠也参与进来。FBI高层则派出探员约翰•多格特（Robert Patrick 罗伯特•帕特立克 饰）协助调查，但两个人的初次会面不欢而散。
