　　本剧改编自Taffy Brodesser-Akner的同名畅销小说，作者本人担任编剧。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. 　　今年的幸运儿就是《疯狂前女友 Crazy meijubar.net Ex-Girlfriend》，前Showtime开发剧集，现在被CW预定。 其实这部剧集大家都听说过，多个月前，showtime说要开发音乐剧。但是阴差阳错下，却变成了CW的剧集。从半小时喜剧，变成了一小时戏剧。CW看中 该剧的原因，是因为发现该剧有像《处女贞 Jane The Virgin》般的潜力。由于半小时喜剧变成一小时时长，整个故事线需要扩容，除了原有卡司外，还亟需扩大演员阵容。而且既然是音乐剧，电视台保证每集有一首大型演唱条目。 Rebecca Bloom饰演事业有成，不过同时也有点疯狂的女子Rebecca，她为了找到真爱她一时冲动地放弃了高级律师事务所合伙人的位置，以及在曼哈顿的豪华公寓，然后一个人跑到加州的西柯汶纳市。
